Kenny Lynch, also known as the friendly, easy-going “Bones” among friends, survived a tragically preventable workplace accident that left him fighting for his life.  Ken is now a motivational safety speaker who inspires audiences with his shockingly honest presentation of survival.  Ken’s message addresses the importance of safety procedures, training, and how a positive attitude can keep you and the people around you safe.

“A Moment In Time”

On January 6th, 1993, Kenny’s life changed forever.  Up until that moment, he thought everything in life was going well; girlfriend, classic car, and a fulfilling job.  During what seemed to be a routine repair at work, Kenny unfortunately made contact with a 12,000-volt breaker, which changed his entire life in one moment of time.  He endured 15 surgeries, 93 painful days in the burn center, and many months of challenging rehabilitation.  Kenny miraculously returned back to work the following January.  

Now, after 24 years since his accident, Kenny felt the need to reach out and share his dramatic, but inspiring story.  He uses photos and humorous antidotes to relay his emotional message. His mission is to instill the critical understanding of safety in the workplace and to inspire teamwork that could keep all workers safe.  Those who have booked Kenny to speak about safety have found that the audience discovers that workplace injuries do not only affect the injured worker, but they impact families, friends, coworkers, and the entire community.  Kenny hopes that his powerfully raw message can help prevent future unsafe “moments in time” for others.
